Hey Sunndae - thanks for the modding resources.
I was able to follow the instructions for Flettner & raft. I am now trying to create a file for the goblin, but I am having map loading problems ( crashing ). I was wondering if you could look at the files I have & see where I am going wrong ----> http://www.filefront.com/14750491/Goblin.rar
Thanks for any help.

Sorry I aint going to be able to fix this today. But maybe later this week. My guess is it has got to do something with the sound ssc files but I cannot say it for sure.

What I found in your files so far was just few missing files but nothing problematic.

I also want the goblin taken out so I will try it later 4 sure. Ima start from scratch but I have a busy life atm so it might take a while. I am curious about this error, its given me a headache before.

I was wrong i was able to fix it today.

Go to your physics.con and look for this line

rem *** GoblinEngine ***
ObjectTemplate.create Engine GoblinEngine
ObjectTemplate.setNetworkableInfo Goblin_engine_info
ObjectTemplate.loadSoundScript Sounds/NatterEngine.ssc

change to this

rem *** GoblinEngine ***
ObjectTemplate.create Engine GoblinEngine
ObjectTemplate.setNetworkableInfo Goblin_engine_info
ObjectTemplate.loadSoundScript ..Sounds/NatterEngine.ssc

See the 2 dots?. I was right about the ssc being problematic I guess in some way cool

ps if your object still isnt working, Ive uploaded my files will check later for missing or double files etc. Got to run now, let me know if its working. Thank you.

Thanks for you time & help Sunndae happy -
I didn't realize that refferencing the sound improper would cause a problem like that.
The oject is in place now no crashes wink Now I need to figure out how to get the (engine) sound back in since I am using vanilla BF 42.
